(GEORGIA, VT – 6 February) – Liquid Measurement Systems, Inc. (LMS) has been named one of the 2019 Best Places to Work in Vermont. The list is created annually by Vermont Business Magazine, the Vermont Chamber of Commerce, the Vermont Department of Economic Development, the Society for Human Resource Management/Vermont State Council and Best Companies Group.
This statewide program is designed to identify, recognize and honor the best employers in Vermont. This year, fifty companies from across the state made the list.
LMS CEO Scott Fewell, said, “It’s an honor to be recognized. Our highest priority as a Company is to maintain an employee experience that genuinely reflects core Vermont values, while remaining competitive in a global aerospace industry.”
Fewell continued, “At LMS, we strive to create an environment that fosters creativity and ingenuity through mutual respect and collaboration. Our people are encouraged to take ownership of their work and to exceed customer expectations.”
Companies from across the state enter a two-part survey process to determine the Best Places to Work in Vermont. The first part – worth 25% — evaluates each nominated company’s policies, practices, philosophy, systems and demographics. The second part – worth 75% — is an 80-question employee survey that measures employee satisfaction across a broad range of metrics. The combined scores determine the top companies and the final rankings.
Best Companies Group manages the overall registration and survey process in Vermont, and also analyzes the data and determines the final rankings, to be announced in late March.
LMS is one of Vermont’s fastest growing aerospace companies, specializing in the design, development and manufacture of fuel measurement technologies for commercial and military aircraft.
