LMS passed an AS9100 Rev C Re-Certification Audit in June to begin our third cycle of registration. AS9100 is the international standard for aviation manufacturers to demonstrate compliance with industry standards.
In January 2013, LMS selected Intertek, as our new registrar for AS9100 and ISO9001 certifications. In accordance with AS9100 requirements, a Stage 1 Audit was performed in May of this year and was followed by the Stage 2 audit in June.
The Audit confirmed LMS’ conformance to AS9100 Rev C requirements which includes improvements to: product conformity and on time delivery, customer satisfaction, risk management, configuration control, and project management. LMS will continue to measure and refine our processes through internal and surveillance audits to ensure continued compliance.
LMS has accomplished six years of successful certification to AS9100 and will now be fully certified for the next three years. These AS and ISO certifications and improvement activities are examples of LMS’ solid commitment to customer satisfaction.
